Current LCA Amendment approval time

hi,

I have filed for LCA amendment through my employer. Due to govt shutdown, my employer is saying it may take upto 6months to get it approved. read in other threads that, LCA amendment normally takes 1week-1month only.

 

Is this true, Please help.

Normal LCA approval is 7 workign days but due to website problems, i think you will see some delays in petitions filed already adn until nov end. there is no way that LCA takes 6 months. probably he mentioned about PERM or H1B petition itself.
