EB1 Eligiblity verfication

1) Having 10 years of exp n project management and currently working as a Senior Project manager in IT Company. I am not an international project manger to my current company

 

2) Planning to do P.hd in Project Management in USA. (Part time course)

 

Question :

 

1) Can I process or submit GC petition without employer sponsorship (self petition)

 

2) Am I eligible to process my GC under EB1. (since I am planning to do P.hd in Project management also I have work experience in Project management area)

 

Please advise.

From the information you posted I doubt you would qualify for EB-1 preference category under "extraordinary ability" or "outstanding professors and researchers" (or "multinational manager or executive").  These EB-1 preference categories have significant requirements well above and beyond an advanced degree (even a Ph.D.) and years of related work experience.  Read the USCIS web site at http://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/permanent-workers/employment-based-immigration-first-preference-eb-1.
