VSVVSP Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 My i-140 application filled under EB1C category has been in "Initial Review" status for over 4 months. The priority date on the file is May 15th. Its been over 5 months (current processing time) and I am concerned if there an RFE. I havent heard anything to that effect from my lawyer. Could "Initial Review" status mean an RFE also if beyond the regular processing time? Or does it only mean that my case is still in process? Your response is greatly appreciated.
Belle Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 Generally, the status is updated if you have an RFE issued. Most likely, the decision has not yet been made on your case.

VSVVSP Posted February 12, 2014 Author Report Posted February 12, 2014 My I-140 is still under Initial Review. Its been 9 months, haven't heard any decision on my application. Can you suggest if there is a general slow down on the cases at the Nebraska Center? Is there anything that should be doing while waiting for communication from USCIS
