Two I 797 Copies

Hi All,

 

I have two I797 copies.

 

1) old I797 which is expiring on March 2013.

2)New I797 which is approved and valid still April 2016.

 

If i go for H1b visa with my two I797 copies to Vancouver will I get visa with my new I 797 validity or old one???

Show both copies to VO.

You would be getting the visa stamped till the new I797 is valid

I too fall into similar category.

 

Please carry both the documents copies.

 

But in your DS-160 mention the current valid pitetion for which your are applying VISA for.

You i94 number will be the same on both the petitions. Show both at the OFC center and they will update it in the system. The VO will have the updated information before you even show up at the interview.
