I have my H1 B extension ( I797) with me. My question, since I will still have a current and valid stampin on my passport when I enter, will I be OK or should I still set up a visa interview while I will be in India? Any input would be welcome. Thanks!

shekar11# Posted October 29, 2013 Report Posted October 29, 2013 I am not sure if you will get I 94 as per new petition expiry date. There is a lot of confusion on this. Find out and know clearly. Because if POE officer does not give I 94 till new I 797 expiry and gives you only as per current visa stamping date i.e. 30 Nov 2013, you have to go out of country and get stamping done and come back.
