PERM application with wrong 'title' for full-time position

Hello all,

I am a software engineer at XYZ. Recently my employer applied for PERM and my HR sent me the PERM application acknowledgement email. In the email, the position title says 'ELECTRONICS ENGINEERS, EXCEPT COMPUTER'.  And I am not an electronics engineer but a software engineer/developer with all my educational and work background in computer scinces.

I contacted my company attorney and the attorney said that while applying prevailing wages, they suggested ONET/OES code 15-1132 which is 'SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS, APPLICATION' but apparently the prevailing wage analyst determined my job classification as 'ELECTRONICS ENGINEER, EXCEPT COMPUTER'. And the attorney assured that they have seen a few cases like this in past and this classification did not affect the case outcome.

However, the actual job title in the PERM application still says "Software Engineer (dept.)", and the job description/job requirement does not suggest any electronics background.

Just in case, I made the attorney apply for prevailing wages once again so that I reduce the 2 month wait period in the unfortunate (or fortunate?) event of a correction request/RFE.

My questions now are,

1. Do I really have to worry about this title so much or is it more serious than I think it is?

2. Should I continue with the 140 process if PERM gets through? (If it does not, then the answer is clear, of course)

3. Can it be corrected after 140 approval, as I probably will be having plenty of time to spare for delayed processing, before the next stage?

4. Did anyone reading this, experience similar situation or hear about one?

Also, please suggest if I am missing any subtle (or grave) points which might put my GC process in danger later.

Thanks for going through the post.
