Company B lawyer is asking for my H1 B documents which is not with me.My current employer is not providing me any documents I 797,I 94. I have EAC # and i am pretty confident that belongs to me. As i am in the first month of H1 b approval , i do not have paystub . Can I file for a H1B transfer( i understand that would be filing new h1 under cap except) thru' company-B with just the receipt number? Company B lawyer is asking for any documentation that can prove that EAC # belongs to me. What are my options here ? Appreciate your answers. Additional information My H1B started Oct-1st 2013 and the company-A is on monthly payroll.
