jaseemar
Hi guys, I am going to India for stamping in december and I am going to book the ticket today.... I work in EVC model for a consultancy and I work in the client site. 1. Does it matter where my port of entry is? any issue if it is different from my employer's location? since I work in the client location, I am coming directly to the city where my client is...need expert advice before I book the ticket. 2. If i get question who is your manager, should I say a person from my employer or my manager at the client? I would really appreciate your reply on this....! Link to comment

Tjgarla
The port of entry doesn't really matter . The documents you bring does . Just be confident about the questions they ask about you work Link to comment

Should I take contact details of my manager (employer or client) to the consulate? Absolutely. There is always a possibility that they would contact your manager or client. Link to comment

From whomever you heard inquire whether they worked as immigration officer at Chicago and also ask for proofs to support their statement? Every POE is the same. The level of scrutiny does not differ from one POE to another. Link to comment
