This processing can take several weeks, or longer. As explained on the day of your interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment. ksunil.16 Posted October 27, 2013 Report Posted October 27, 2013 Depends on the what kind of information they are requesting. Generally what I heard was it is taking atleast 2 weeks but not 100% sure.

If its 221g related to your employer, then they will ask for additional documents within a week and you will get a decision in the next week (2weeks in total). If its 221g TAL, related to your field of study then Its takes typically 4-6 weeks sometimes more.
visa_faqs Posted October 27, 2013 Author Report Posted October 27, 2013 till now they havent asked any documents? should i follow up with consulate on Monday. there is free walk-ins from 9-12 (mon-Fri) or it is logical to wait for a week and check back.

visa_faqs Posted October 31, 2013 Author Report Posted October 31, 2013 they requested following documents: 1) Letter from your end client describing your duties 2) Letters from any vendors involved in your contracted assignment 3) Current letter from your petitioner describing your position; including compensation. i submitted all the documents related yesterday.,

I am sure yors doesnt take as much time as they take for 221g TAL Check. I best guess would be max 2-3 weeks.
