trio
6 years of my H1b visa were completed in Octomer and my company told me to work from Mexico office. I am currently in Mexico office and need to travel to India for a vacation. There are no flights directly from Mexico to India and all the flights are connecting via US. My question is - Do I need a US visa to transit via US? are there any risks in getting the visa? my PERM application is in processing (in audit) and attorney said that I can get an extension after 365 days of filing PERM would there be any impact on the 365 days of getting extension? any advice, suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thanks a LOT in advance. Link to comment

CCR
There are no direct flight but I know KLM and Lufthansa have daily flights to AMS and FRA and u can connect to whereever in India...u can easily see which 1-stop flights are available from MEX to major-city-in-India using so many websites...why is this so complicated? trio
@CCR Thanks for the information, the complicated part is, based on the search I have done, Indians need a transit visa to travel through Germany or most of the countries in Europe and getting a visa is a long process. I am trying to see if there is any other route that I can travel. Link to comment
