devankrishna Posted October 25, 2013 Report Posted October 25, 2013 Hi Friends, Need some help. Please see below. My employer filed a first H1B petition( California Service Center) for me in July 2012 while i was working with Client-A in California and got it approved for aprox 14 months . Start Date : Oct-2012 and Expiry Date : Feb-2014 So according to USICS rules H1 extension can be applied 6 months prior to one's current H1 expiration date. My employer filed for H1B extention petition (this time Vermont Service Center) for me in Sept 2013 as i am currently working with Client-B in Georgia and got it approved for approx 3 years. Start Date : Sept-30-2013 and Expiry Date : Aug-2016 Questions ------------- 1) Do I need to specify both the petiontion's in my DS-160 form for visa interview ? 2) Is my first petion still active ? If it is active do i need to cancel it ? I am confused. 3) Since my first petition got approved with client-A and my second petition got approved with client-B and i am currently working with client-B. Is it ok if i mention only my second petition on my DS-160 ? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tjgarla Posted October 30, 2013 Report Posted October 30, 2013 Put the latest one on the DS 160 form . If you observe your i-94 number will be the same on both. The VO will know you are good till 2006 before you start talking to him.
