H1 Transfer Receipt number

My attorney sent H1 B transfer package to USCIS yesterday. And It shows it reached USCIS today morning.

 

My question is: when do my attorney get receipt number? Does he also get receipt number in email?

Yes, in a week.

If filed in premium processing, your employer's attorney should get the receipt number and status updates via email. Otherwise the paper receipt notice will arrive a a week or two.

If its premium processing, your Attorney gets the receipt number as soon as your documents reach USCIS.

 

Approval usually takes 2 - 14 calendar days.
