nishta_13 Posted October 24, 2013 Report Posted October 24, 2013 Hello Forum Members, My brothers Wife will come to US in next year on L1 and my brother is plannin to come on L2 VISA, It might happen some time in next year June-July that they may reach here , We have couple of concerts for the same 1) what is the process for L2 VISA holder to get a work permit in the US 2) My brother is parallely plannign to process is H1 in next year cap, So can he still apply for the H1B though his L1 VISA is approved , WIll there be any issues Please provide your feedback

He has to fill appropriate forms and apply for L2 EAD (Employment Authorization Document) and on approval he can work as long as his spouse maintains L1 status 2. Yes, he can apply.
