I am in confusion in the cover letter should I write that "I was on H1b till OCt 11" then I was out of status or should I just write in general that "recently I got lay off......" Please help. Thanks......

pontevecchio Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 You were in H1 status. You have been laid off and need a couple of months in status to tie up your affairs before leaving. Or let a Lawyer do the writing.
