L1B and L2 transfer to H1

Hi,

 

Me and my wife have applied for H1. I am on L1B and working for company A. My wife is on L2 and working with  EAD for some other company. My L1 to H1 transfer status is on RFE and my wife's L2 to H1 also on RFE status. Both of us replied to RFE and waiting for response.

 

Please let me know the possibilties in below sceniories.

 

1) L1 to H1 is approved ahead of L2 to H1(some 15 days difference)

 

a) Does my wife go out of status in this period

b) Does she need to leave the country, if she doesn't have any status in that period.

c) Do I need to apply for L2 to H4 to maintain status for my wife until her H1 gets approved?

d) How soon can I apply L2 to H4 for my wife after my H1 approved?

 

Please give me thoughts on above queries.
