H1B - 221 G AAP in Chennai - Aug 2013 , How about H4 Now

I have a situation explained below for my wife.

 

first time H1B Visa Interview in Chennai - 16th Aug 2013, received 221G Blue and Green Slips for additional documents.

Sep 27 2013 - Got a status notification saying to collect passport in OFC.

 

Here passport returned and given new blue/green 221g saying additional administrative processing.

 

In this situation, what is the expected time period to get the results, if she wants to come back in H4...what happens to her H1B case.

No specific time limit. If she wants to come on H4 then she has to withdraw her H1B visa application at consulate and then apply for a H4 visa.
