You have no other option other than submitting the requested documents and wait.

shandan Posted October 23, 2013 Report Posted October 23, 2013 Not to discourage you, but just wanted to share one of my friends scenario, he went to India to get his H1B extension stamped and was under administrative processing for 18 months, the only thing which was working in his favor was that he was not struck in a foreign country and was waiting at home. Well that was a worst case scenario, but I have heard of situations where the processing takes about 15 days to a couple of months. What did the officer tell you about the expected wait time ?
uppuluriv Posted October 26, 2013 Author Report Posted October 26, 2013 he did not tell me any expected time. He just asked me to submit the docs related to my field of study. What actions can be taken if it takes much longer to get this clear?? Can any one suggest??
