I don't want to go to India during that time, as it will be costly for me.Mini
pontevecchio Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Get a new I94 by either visiting Mexico for a few days or by crossing the border at Tijuana and coming back. Run this by your company Lawyer first as she may have other ideas.

Rakee Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 If stamping not an option, then crossing border and returning might work. However it is entirely up to the officer issuing the I-94 at border. Since your current stamp is till Dec 2013 only, suggestions is to get a mex or Canada visa before trying such options to avoid any time taking questioning by border security officers. However CBP or USCIS offices will not be of help within US, has only wasted time of few known persons. Not anyother clue than the above.
pontevecchio Posted October 29, 2013 Report Posted October 29, 2013 It is not up to the Officer. AVR is not an imposition and cannot be forced. The problem is individuals are so petrified at the sight of the CBP that they are unable to ask for a supervisor or articulate their request in a couple of sentences with eye contact and a smile. Ask and Insist and you shall receive.
