Can we make changes to DS 160

Hello All,

 

I am on my first H1b. I am travelling to India and get the visa stamped. 

 

I am still filling out DS-160. First time doing it. 

 

Can anybody tell if I can make changes to DS-160 after submitting it?

Yes. Though it would mean you're creating a new application (you can't edit a submitted application). Essentially you retrieve it, and redo as a new one. What I've read is you're recommended to carry the barcoded receipt outputs for both submissions just in case.

Nope. You need to fill a new one.
