My interview was at 9:00 AM .Here are the questions VO asked

 

VO : Is this your H1 renewal ?

Ans : No,First H1 (F1 -> H1)

 

VO : Who is your employer ?

Ans : xxxx

 

VO : Do you have a client ?

Ans : yes

 

VO : Who is your client ?

Ans : XXXX

 

VO : Do you have your tax return documents ?

Ans : Which year you would like to see.

 

VO : Provide me all the ones you have

Ans : Provided 2012,2011,2010,2009,2008 W2's and tax return docs

 

VO : How long you have been working for the current employer ?

Ans : $$

 

VO : Were you on OPT and then H1 with the employer ?

Ans : yes

 

VO : Pointing to the wages,tips and compensation field on the W2,Is this the whole amount your paid during that year ?

Ans : yes

 

VO : Did you had any income in W2 other than the one from your employer  in W2?

Ans : No

 

I had 2 W2's for 2011 and VO asked about the same and I explained the dates when i worked for those companies,he was typing for  about 4-5 minutes and (I was actually looking which paper he will pull and give it to me) ....finally VO responded that I recommend you for the visa and gave me the white sheet which had the Loomis and other information and a checklist regarding H1B rules/laws in USA.

 

Before my interview I was listening to the interactions between few VO's and candidates, my opinion is and again this may be wrong but if you say your field/research/project is related to Biology/Biotechnology you have a high probability of getting a green slip.One of the VO was asking particularly about higher education..if Master's ..then specialization ...and few questions related to that ...I would suggest sitting far from the VO's counters so you don't have to hear other's experiences and get tensed and ruin your interview.
