Automatic visa revalidation after changing employer

Hi,

 

I got my first H1b visa stamping done in 2005 with Employer ‘A’ which was expired in 2008 . I changed employer (‘B’) in 2007 and landed in USA in 2008 before the visa stamping expired.

I never travled outside USA since then (5 yrs and 2 monts).   I got my 2^nd extension (I797) and I-94  expiring in 2016 .  

 

 

 1. Am I illegible for Automatic Visa revalidation while coming back to USA on expired Visa if I visit Canada to complete my PR process within a week?

 

 2. Can there be questions asked on expired Visa which was issued for Employer ‘A’ while last two I797 are from from Employer ‘B’ ?
