kirank1712@gmail.com Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 I came USA with B1 Visa and applied for F1 which got approved but the approval notice letter says the validity start date is Dec 2013. My B1 visa I-94 expired on Sep 30. Do I get a new I-94 and can I stay in USA till Dec. Should I apply for extension of B1 visa till December? Please suggest me.

t75 Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 Since your I-94 is expired, you cannot apply for an extension. You are illegally present without a valid I-94. Get yourself home for stamping and proper entry.
