H1b vis still in initial review

I was selected in this year H1b lottery.my petition num is Eac131375****.my receipt notice date shows 16th April 2013,but it is still in initial review.

My employer is not answering our calls nor giving any update.

Is there anybody waiting like me or any updates on vermont processing center

If your employer is not answering your calls there is a possibility that he would have withdrawn or abandoned the petition. It is my hunch.

If your employer is not responding to you, you have bigger problems than your petition in review.  Is your employer a well known company or a fly-by-night consulting firm?

One of my friend who applied with me from the same consultant her petition got approved but not ours,whenever we ask he tells vermont processing is running very slow.

In case if the petition is withdrawn or abandoned,is there any source that I will know about the situation apart from the employer
