amysun Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 My employer filed H1b ( new, H1b holder before) for me in PP and it was delivered on Oct. 1st. Still no email about receipt so far. Inquiry is not working since no receipt number. Frustrating? Anybody in the same boat?

rharishv Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 I got the receipt number from my employer for my H1 transfer. How do I know if it was filed in Premium Processing? it is still in "Acceptance", but the status talks nothing about premium processing or normal...
amysun Posted October 18, 2013 Author Report Posted October 18, 2013 Finally, I got the receipt. Employer's attorney called USCIS and found out they rejected the application incorrectly. They thought it needs New H1B cap, but actually I had H1b before until this August. They corrected the mistake and take it in on the same day. 15 days starts from yesterday.

Are you cap exempt in that case? I too had a H1-B in past which is expired and am wondering if I am too cap exempted. Thanks in advance
