Do I need to have amendment once I done with my stamping?

I got my Visa stamped in Canada last month which is with valid I-797 for 3 years.My current project which I got my visa approval will be ending by next month. So, I want to go to India when i join a new client Do I need to apply for my H1B amendment or Just LCA for new client is enough? Please suggest me.

Thanks for quick reply. I saw some where It cost around $1600.00 if I go only with the period which is on my current I-797 and premium processing. And will I be guaranteed with approval of my current period?

I don't know about the cost.But why are you worried about the  cost??

There is no guarantee that you will get same date, however why you are worried about the cost? Your employer will take care of those things, if not compliant to DOL and change the employer
