To apply H1B under master quota can the university be private but non profit one

Greetings,

 

I am planning for MS in IT from ***************** university (TN). My question is ,

1. ************** is an private university but a non profit one. After completion of MS can I apply H1B under masters quota .

2. Have any one completed MS from ************* university ? Any opinion about this university?. 

 

The reason I am opting for this university is because I am currently staying in TN state and in H4 so I don't want to move out.

For the Masters quota, the degree has to be from a public or private non-profit university.

Several of the top universities are private non-profit, like the two in Cambridge, MA (can't name them here, but their names start with H and M, and end with d and T, respectively.)
