h1extension
My EB-2 AoS application was filed for I-485(AOS), I-765 (EAD) , I131 (AP) on Aug 21st 2013. I got a appointment letter from USCIS for Biometric Dates on Sep 25 2013. However I have not yet recieved my EAD or AP. I have some emergency for which I will not be able to attend my Biometric appointment date. I have filed for rescheduling my Biometric Date. I have not got any response from USCIS on the 2nd date yet. Now, I wanted to know if this rescheduling will affect my EAD and AP approval? Is it mandatory to have Biometrics completed before I get my EAD and AP? Please share your experiences. Link to comment
Belle
Yes, biometrics are mandatory because your pictures and signature are being used for the actual card(s). Link to comment
kalyan_ac
Not necessarily, i received mine without and finger prints and before i went for the biometrics. Link to comment
eternalgcwait
Does your FP notice have the receipt numbers of your 485 & 765 (EAD) application? Mine does and I am not sure if EAD will be provided before the biometrics are taken. Link to comment
