kumar67 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 We found that recently issued permanent resident card of my wife has wrong month of birth. But this was a mistake made by us on the application form.. G-325A submitted along with 485 and every other document (EAD, Advance Parol) issued by USCIS has the right DOB. Other than the fee, which I believe they will charge, what hurdles we might have to go through? She has to for finger printing again?
pontevecchio Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 REapply for her I90 and your take is USCIS error and hence you should pay nothing.
kumar67 Posted August 24, 2011 Author Report Posted August 24, 2011 Thak you for the suggestion. She is sending it today with USCIS error. Our attorney has similar response.
kumar67 Posted August 30, 2011 Author Report Posted August 30, 2011 Wondering if any one knows average time taken by USCIS to fix their error in a PR card??
pontevecchio Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 3-6 months. I speak from previous experience. Both our Green Cards were issued wrong and we had to reapply for both.

pontevecchio Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 The I-485 is history. She has the GC. There was a mistake in entry and she is considered to be a PR though it would be better once the new GC comes through.
