NORI Application - Consulate Jurisdiction Query

Hi,

 

I applied for Stage I through Chicago Indian Consulate and meanwhile I am relocating to East Coast so would be applying for Stage III through Washington D.C. Indian Consulate. However, the consulate at D.C. is NOT ready to accept the clearance information sent from Passport Authorities, Hyderabad to Chicago Indian Consulate. They are requesting a HARD COPY. Getting a clearance letter again is start over process and I am running out of time....

 

So, would it be possible to apply for Stage III from Chicago Consulate even though the place I am living comes under the jurisdiction of Washington D.C. Consulate? Kindly let me know.

Are you in the process of relocating or already relocated? Since you have NORI forms attested by Indian consulate at Chicago just give a try. They are very helpful.
