Is this possible or do we need to continue to work in order to maintain the Green Card Status? Would really appreciate an answer to this dilemma.

No restrictions on what you want to do.
JoeF Posted September 25, 2013 Report Posted September 25, 2013 The primary person should continue working for the sponsoring employer for at least 1/2 year or so. A dependent can of course do whatever he/she pleases.
