H1B Legal Advice

I am on a H1b visa and also am a certified soccer referee. I referee about 4-6 soccer matches every month, mostly on weekends. I do it for the love for the game rather than for the monetary benefits. I get paid around $20-$40 for each game.

I am concerned whether doing so is legal as I am on a H1b visa sponsored by my employer.

I request your legal opinion on the matter. 

PS: I am totally OK with leaving refereeing while in US as my job in hand is more important!!

It is illegal. Wait for other members opinion.
