H1B Amendment

Hi All,

 

I got my H1B Visa Stamped last month. I have given the client letter from Client 1. But now I will be travelling for a different client - Client 2 ( and in a different state). So my doubts are....

 

1. Do I need an Amendment in this case? 

2. Do I need to do it before I travel or do I need to do the Amendment once I reach US?

3. If yes what are the documents which is required for doing the Amendment? Is Client letter from Client 2 mandatory?

4. How much time will the Amendment process will take? Is there a premium processing for Amendment?

5. If I apply for Amendment do I need to go for stamping again?

If you visa is stamped, you don't have to worry about it immediately. Make sure your LCA is amended before you travel to client 2(Just to be on a safe side, in case of USCIS visit). H1 amendment can be done later. LCA would take min of 15 days.
