H1-B Approved I 94 denied !! urgent - - Please, Help.

Hi All,

 

Please help me Regarding my situation

 

1. I have graduated on september 2013 and applied for OPT (Still in Initial Review)

 

2. I got H1B Approved and starts from October1 2013, without i94.    (Change of Status is Denied)

 

 

So, Should i need to continue on F1 Status or Do i need to go to H1B Stamping.  

What is my Sevis Status after October 1. 

Does, my F1 Sevis Status would continue after October 1 or gets terminated.

you have to go out and get your H1 stamped.

It is prudent to ask your DSO about your SEVIS status. In theory it should be valid after October,1. What does your DSO say?

I didn't get what you meant by change of status denied. I was in same situation my h1 approved without i-94 and needed to extend my OPT, I called the university for extending my OPT and they said my SEVIS has been closed. My employer said that shouldn't happen, but make sure to check with your college. I'm not sure even if your EAD issued will be of any use. Better check with murthy attorneys.
