Hi All,

My wife has visitor visa, H4 dependent visa, after she came to US she applied for H1B Visa which got approved and she is working from Jan 2013

My question:

1) Does she can go to Canada for first H1B stamping ( she does not have US degree)

2) She has E>V>C model, does she need amendment letter from both vendor and client or just client letter is enough

3) If her first H1B visa is rejected by US embassy, can you enter US on H4 visa as it is valid till Jan 2014

Please suggest

Thanks

(1) She can. If you check this forum you will find many in such situation.

(2) Better to carry letters from everyone. Client letter is a must.

(3) Yes, she can.

1. Check the consulate website, consulates in Canada require US education

2.what is amendment letter?? I think you are talking about verification letters, she needs all the letters

1. Without US degree, have to go to home country. Consulate website shows this.

2. "Amendment letter" is wrong terminology. You need all letters from vendor/client. Make sure client letter mentions vendor name and also employer name.

Well, the US consulate website says "may" and in this case it is based on the discretion of consulate officer.
