Hi,

I am currently on L1B visa working for my company.currently i am in 3rd year end of my L1B visa. My company has started by green card process now by filing it Labour Certification. They are filing it in EB-2 category. My questions are as follows:

1) While the green card is in progress will the change of status from L1-B to H1-B by current employer affect my green card application.

2) If H1B is filed by different company will it affect the current green application. If yes what are the option to continue same applications.

Please help me with this.

Thanks in Advance.

1. No

2. No

Your GC is no way related to your current status. All you have make sure that you are in legal status no matter what status that is.

Thanks Rahul for your reply.

For question 2. What happens to GC process if previous employer(company A) revokes green card application, as a person have changed the job to company B.

You need to start from beginning. But I heard that you can port your PD, I don't know how things work in this case.
