Appointment available dates

Hi All,

 

I am trying to go to canada or Mexico for H1B extension stamping.I am planning to go to consulate where ever the dates are available soon.This is first time I am going to canada or mexico for stamping.

 

My question is , is there is anyway to find out the available dates in the consulates without filling DS-160 and paying the fee.If so can someone please guide me?

- you don't have to submit DS 160 , you just need application number after creating DS 160

Is it really required to pay the fees to see the dates available...as I can see the next available date at https://usvisa-info.com/ but to book an appointment it prompts me to make the payment first(DS 160 application number is required)?

 

However I have not been able to see if there are any more dates available after the very next appointment? Please suggest.

 

Also i am planning to go for my satmping soon to Canada so wanted to know how was your experience if you went recently?

Canada Vancouver dates  -- Feb2014 last week

Jamaica , kingston -- 10 to 15 days from now

you have to pay first to see dates. You can also reschedule any number of times after blocking a date.

When you pay fees it will ask DS 160 number. For this,  create application here https://ceac.state.gov/GenNIV/Default.aspx save it and it will generate application number. Use this when you pay fee.

 

My appointment is next month.
