shossain Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 Hello all. Please help. Need to know rather quickly. My parents are visiting the US on B2. After some time we decided to go ahead with their residency (GC) application: I130/I485 filed concurrently. While the residency application proceeds, should we apply for an extension of the B2 visa as its getting close to the 6 months approved in the I94? Or are they covered by the pending I130/I485 application? Thank you in advance :-)

SameerH1Bworker Posted September 24, 2013 Report Posted September 24, 2013 You do not need to file B2 extension as they've pending I-485. We did for our parents and it is find as long as you've pending AOS.
