manishka22 Posted September 18, 2013 Report Posted September 18, 2013 I was reading about H1B Visa Stamping Interview Waiver program and I think I fall into that category and can get waiver, I am planning to visit India soon, need your help to make decision. 1. I would be in same city as the consulate office, still is it advisable to go through waiver program or shall I go for the interview and get a decision right away...Rather than sending passport and waiting for stamping ? 2. Can I apply for stamping sitting in US itself through waiver program, so that I have stamping before I travel for India. That way I would be 100% sure about the stamping. 3. Could there be a rejection or 221g through waiver program as well, even if all the requested documents are provided, how common is RFE in such case. Thanks for your help...

Both are same. (2) How will you do that? Sending your passport abroad? (3) Yes, why not?

They are not taking paycheck,w2s,bank statements...etc if you are eligible for drop box...
