Work on approved h1b while b2 is pending

Hi, I'm here seeking for your help. currently i'm in L2 visa which is expiring on 24th sep of this year. I applied for H1B and got approval (eff. from Oct 1st).

there is a 6 days gap before H1 activation and L2 exprie. I applied for B2 visa requesting permission to stay in US for 6 days before my H1 activation. now, the B2 visa status is in pending. Cant go for l1 extension as the stay on L1 is max out. would like to know if i can work on H1 from oct 1st though my b2 visa is pending.
