I applied for H1B and got approval (eff. from Oct 1st). there is a 6 days gap before H1 activation and L2 exprie. I applied for B2 visa requesting permission to stay in US for 6 days before my H1 activation. now, the B2 visa status is in pending. Cant go for L1 extension as it is max out.would like to know if i can work on H1 from oct 1st though my b2 visa is pending.

jairichi Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 Expires on 24th sep I believe there is a procedure to withdraw your B2 petition. Check with your employer's attorney.
