It would be best to contact a good immigration attorney to know the chances of visa approval rather than keep posting in this forum to get a favorable answer.

Vigneshwar Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 @Goluram: I am facing a similar situation. I am planning to go for my H1Bstamping this year. I did my BE and MS in Mechanical Engg and I amcurrently working in an IT job. I have C programming course and lab inBachelors and haven't done any IT related courses in Masters though Ihave done a couple of courses where I used MATLAB for programming. I understand that you would have formulated an answer while youwere going to stamping if VO asks the following kind of questions:How can you justify your change of background (i.e., Mechanical inMasters to IT job)? Why did you change your background? How is your Masters degree related to your current job? Can you please share your answers which you would have probablythought of before your interview? I have been racking my brains out on this for a while. I would reallyappreciate your help.Sincerely,Vigneshwar
