Kavya1982 Posted September 18, 2013 Report Posted September 18, 2013 Hi, I am on H4 visa. I was caught for shoplifting last year. I was caught at the time where I was stealing $70 worth. I was arrested and I plead guilty in court and was there on probation for 6 months. Now my case is dismissed. It is class-A misdemeanor . I am planning to go to India and I have to go for stamping. In DS-160 I am mentioning about this arrest for the question "Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty, or other similar action? " as yes and giving the case details. Can anyone tell me. What will be chance of my visa getting stamped. If anyone has some helpful tips please let me know. Thanks, Kavya
