Visa Interview experience on september 17th@Vancouver,PIMS not yet Updated

Hello all,

Today i had my interview at Vancouver,

guard allowed me inside before 15 minutes of my appointment only,checked every thing ,then went to first floor for security check ,once done the lady checked the ds 160 and Photo and gave me token,after 5 minutes went to counter 1 for finger prints of both hands and thumb prints,she updated the DS 160 with no PIMS.

 

Then Guard took to 20 th floor and waited for my token number 

 

After all formalities reached counter 3.

1) Gm Sir,

   Gave Passport, DS 160 and I797.

 

2)What is your start date with your employer

  Dec XXXX

3)How long working with employer?

   XX months

4) Asked for LCA and Client Letter

    Checked both LCA and Client Letter,

The client letter head has address different than the Client Location Address,then asked does you work at the location mentioned on the Letter head ,said no and mentioned the client location address,he typed something on his computer,

5)where did you done your master

   SUNY XXX

6)Which Degree

   Master in Electrical Engineering

7)Does your  employer pay on time?

 Yes sir

 

 

He scanned the Bar Code on DS 160 form couple of times and mentioned your PIMS is not updated it may take 3 to 5 business days to process it,Took Passport and I797.

 

 

The interview was simple for me,tensed a lot before the interview day  ,but be prepared ahead of time and carry all documents you can ,mine was on EVCC model no client letter,mentioned my implementation partner as end client.

so waiting for PIMS update.

Hi naveenee221,

    Quick question on your interview experience. I am wondering how does the VO know that you working in a EVCC or EVC model before he took your LCA or I129..? Did you mention any where in the DS forms that i am working at so and so client location which is different from Employer location..?  The specific question i am asking because he asked your LCA and also client letter both at the same time.

Hi, Congrats buddy! Can you pls tell me what does it mean by " mentioned my implementation partner as end client.?" I also don't have client letter & on EVC model. But my Vendor letter has Client mentioned on it so can't desscribe vendor as my client.

 

2)Pls tell me detail steps to update PIMS at Vancouver location & what docs need to send & where?
