gm2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 I have a valid F-1 visa from X university until May 2014. I came to US in 2009 and I transferred to University Y and studied in university Y from first semester until I graduated. After graduation, I worked on OPT and OPT extension. My OPT extension is going to expire on Nov 27. I wanted to go back to school in Spring 2014. I talked to my DSO at school and they are OK to offer me an I-20 with the same SEVIS ID for my second Master's degree. I want to leave USA on Nov 27 to visit my family and come back on Dec 27 before my school starts in Spring. As, I have a valid F-1 Visa and have an valid I-20 with the same SEVIS ID, Will I have any issues at POE during my re-entry, with Old F-1 visa and new I-20? Do I need to go for the visa interview again? I have researched a little bit on this, and looks like there are very few posts similar to my scenario. Any feedback is really appreciated. Thanks!
