Change Job While Pending I-485 > 180 Days

Hi,
I am currently on H1B. I have EAD and I-485 is pending for more than a year now.
My client is offering me a job. I have following questions for Gurus/Experts. Please help.

1. If I transfer my H1 to new company what will happen to my EAD and I-485 status that is pending?

2. Do I need to join new company on H1 B or using EAD? What are PROS and CONS for each?

3. Personally I want to join new Company on H1 but don't know effects on pending I-485?

 

4. AC21 - Do I have to file even I transfer H1 to new company or I move on EAD?

1. Nothing. EAD remains valid, I-485 remains pending.

2. You can do it either way. Read about pros and cons - there is a bunch of articles about it.

3. You need to use AC21 to keep I-485 in good standing.

4. Yes. It's unrelated to the use of EAD or H1 transfer.

Now its clear to me but quick question, the next company I am joining, do they need to file my labour or I-140 again?
