Applying for canadian visitor visa while COS from L1B to H1B under RFE

Hello everyone,

 

My employer has filed COS from L1B to H1B this year.

I am with same employer last since beginning.

 

My L1B expires on Nov 2013 but my I-94 still valid untill Feb 2014.

 

H1B status as of now is on RFE and i already sent all relevant documents.

 

My Question is:

 

While this visa thing is under processing, and I being currently working in USA on a valid L1B visa ( valid for next 2 months ). Can I apply for a canadian visitor visa ? and germany Schengen visa?

and if I can apply canadian visitor visa, do they give visa only for those 2 months my US L1B is valid for?

 

Please suggest.

Yes, you can apply for Canadian visitor visa and Germann schengen visa. Your current L1B visa will have no effect on duration of Canadian visitor visa.
