Zareen Ahsan Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 Please advise what kind of folder one can use for carrying documents to Ottawa embassy? Is it ok if it is a black folder and not transparent? I am only carrying documents in a black folder but read somewhere that one can only take transparent folders? Thanks.
gopalakrishnach Posted September 16, 2013 Report Posted September 16, 2013 I used transparent harmony type of folder which was easy to use.
CoolDeep Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 @Zareen Ahsan Below is the info regarding folder which I got from one of the candidate who had a successfull visa interview. Carry your documents in a transparent folder or plastic cover. Opaque folders made of plastic, card board or leather is not allowed. Consider using multiple transparent zip lock covers to carry your documents; That way, you can easily organize your documents. Organizing your documents is essential. Try using sticky tabs to classify your documents (you can find them in Staples or "Grand & Toy" shop). You may also carry a transparent plastic cover but the security will ask you to wrap it and keep it in your pocket once you are inside the consulate office.
