PraveenKumar
Hi, I'm sad to say that my VISA is rejected, here are the questions asked: VO: Good morning Me: Good Morning Sir VO: why are you visiting?Me: For toursim purpose VO: How long you are going to stay?Me: 2 weeks VO: Where are you going to stay in USAMe: In Sanjose, California VO: Do you have any one there?Me: My friend stays in Sanjose, california VO: What is his legal status?Me: He is currently on H1B VO: How long he has been in USA?Me: Since 2007 VO: Where is he working?Me: Working for xxxx client VO: What do you do?Me: I'm working for xx company here. VO: Who is your client?Me: Said in UK VO: What is your job profile here?Me: i'm working as a xx engineer etc.. VO: Who is sponsoring your trip?Me: Myself VO: What is your salary?Me: 7lacks per annum VO: Did you ever travel to outside?Me: This is the first time i'm travelling VO: Are you married?Me: No, im single VO: Do you own any property here?Me: No, it is on my dads name then VO said sorry you have not proved your tie ups to india, so can not issue VISA. i think final 3 questions put me in this condition where i could not able prove my tie ups.No documents checked, may be i could have shown my documents for e.g. leave letter etc.. so certainlyim disappointed, thought my job and salary helps me but it did not. Three persons got rejected by the same VO who were interviewed before mine. My Queries are below, can anyone suggest me please.. Will it effect my future plans if i go to any type of VISA other than B2 to USA through my company for e.g. H1B, L1, B1 etc..? Next time if i wanted to reapply for B2, what are the factors do i need to consider for tieups? is it ok if i have house on my name, married and salary hike for the next time apperance? rahul412
You shouldn't have mentioned about your friend. Now a days every one has a friend or relative from US. And more thing, with your BG you can easily find new job in US and I think that was another reason for rejection. Link to comment

It will not affect outcome of future applications for a visa to US. Probably once you get married the reason of a honeymoon trip to US would be more convincing. Link to comment
omshiv
So it seemed obvious to the VO that you were planning to immigrate by going thru B visa which is not possible. Going to meet friends is not good reason Link to comment
harihere
Really tough. If you inteneded to go for 2 weeks, you should have first try via some agency which provides tour packages. Being working for a client in UK, if I were VO I would think you are going to attend an interview or job search. Link to comment
