Hello,

I've my current H1b which expires on  Jan'4th 2014 and got the approval for the new H1b which is effective from Jan 4th 2014. I m planning for my stamping On Oct 11th in CANADA. Please let me know if it is going to be a problem to go for stamping in this scenario and if i get stamped, what would be the stamping effective dates as i have to come back to US in Oct itself.

Thnx,

Sree

If both are from same employer then you could show both I797 to VO and get visa stamped.

Both are from same employer. But my only concern is if i can go for stamping in Oct itself??

October is a bit too early. But, there is a possibility that you might get a visa stamped based on your new approval. Wait for other members opinion.
