On OPT and H1b transfer under initial review. From OCT1 ?

I am currently on OPT. On April 1st 2013 my employer had filed for my H1b and i had it approved (I-797), my H1b status is due to start on Oct 1 2013; i had switched my employer in August 2013 and had filed for my H1b VISA transfer. My case is in initial review, can i work after Oct1 if my H1b is still under initial review. Can i continue to work after Oct 1 still waiting on my H1b visa initial review?

I guess this is not H1B transfer....this is new H1B case...
